COMMUNITY:
In further demonstration of our love for the community of Austin, we support many local organizations including, but not limited to, Austin Children's Shelter (ACS) as a community partner and fundraiser, Hostelling International-SWT (Austin Youth Hostel) as a Board Member and supporter of Cultural Kitchens, and Austin Pets Alive in their Foster Program. As part of National Volunteer Week 2011, Mark was recognized by ACS in a Volunteer Spotlight highlighting my ongoing Shoes Gifting Program. Mark and Christy both devote their time and organizational talents to an annual fundraising party known as New Wave Ball, created by Mark in 2010.
